Kathryn wanted to be a lawyer since her days in debate club in high school. She loves winning the debate, which is essentially what a trial is. She also loved the robust debates in the Jefferson Society while in college at UVA. In law school, Kathryn worked on legislative- and community-based advocacy projects in the Erin Levitas Initiative for Sexual Assault Prevention. She also worked in clinics on incarceration issues. She is the daughter of a Polish immigrant, and spent several summers interning in her hometown’s Catholic Charities Refugee and Immigration Services.
These past experiences have strengthened her intent to practice law with a thorough, client-centered approach grounded in the community her firm serves.
After law school, Kathryn worked in the financial world. But she soon decided that she really wanted to be in the courtroom – debating again. She is very good at it. We are very lucky to be the place she chose to land.
Originally from Roanoke, Virginia, she now lives in Waldorf. She enjoys long runs, long reads, all manner of outdoor activities, and mountain views.
